Our Greystone Beauty website design is an elegant and modern design for a Plymouth-based cosmetic studio. It features sleek fonts and pastel colours, as well as on-brand imagery in an easy-to-navigate layout. The goal of this website is to encourage users to contact the studio and make an appointment.
Homepage Design
The Greystone Beauty homepage was designed with aesthetics in mind – because that is a large factor in what their audience is looking for when searching for beauty treatments and salons.
The website has a large focus on the salon’s new location, which features new branding centered around a light blue and grey colour scheme. This makes for a clean and minimalist look, which integrates perfectly with the new location of the salon. Scrolling down from the hero section, the website talks shortly about the new location in Plymouth and displays images to draw the user in, build trust, and assert the professionalism and cleanliness of the salon which is a large part of its identity.
An important part of a beauty salon is the services it offers, so we featured three sections that boast the salon’s main services – nails, brows, and make-up. Each section offers a visually-appealing image and a short description of the service offered. Further down, we see an interactive map where the user can pinpoint the location of the salon and plan their journey. This is especially important for users who haven’t yet visited the salon.
Just below, we integrated a contact form to gather queries, comments, and complaints. This is introduced with a header image of green plants, and a grey overlay with white text. This header gives the website a natural feel and helps the contact form to stand out among the other content.

A mobile site is extremely important when it comes to beauty salons, as many of the audience will be searching from mobile. It’s vital that the site looks just as visually appealing and functional as on a desktop. The mobile site for Greystone Beauty features the same relaxing and clean colour scheme and all the information that appears on the desktop page. It is easy to use for mobile users and allows those on the go to find and learn about the beauty salon.
