The brief
Bottle Street Bakery wanted a website centered around its brand and its story. Using the brand’s colour palette, professional photography, and typography, we created a website that ‘feels like the actual store’. Dedicated sections educate and inform the user about the history and journey of the bakery while enticing imagery gives a visual view of the products offered in-store.

This business is centered around family values, great products from long-running recipes, and a history in Plymouth. The bakery didn’t have a website and was looking to expand its business into the digital space with a modern and user-friendly design. They were also looking for a location to send their social media users to, as their platforms had been rising but they were struggling to provide enough information for new visitors.

Because of this, the user can understand the purpose and brand of the business at first glance. This bakery website design has a simplistic and user-friendly layout, with user accessibility playing an important role in the design of the site. We made sure to use colours with high levels of contrast to make sure every area of text is visible and digestible for the users.
