HK Jewellery is a new online jewellery shop based in the UK, aiming to sell products such as rings, necklaces, and bracelets that are high-quality but also reasonably priced. We created this jewellery shop website design to kick off their digital shop and start selling their products online.
The brief
The online shop was looking for a platform to upload and sell its products, receive reviews, and encourage users to find them on search engines.
They wanted a sophisticated and modern jewellery shop website design that required little to no maintenance, was user-friendly on the back-end, and had working shop features such as a cart and checkout page.
The brand
The brand is modern, elegant, and classy, and it aims to target individuals who are in couples or looking to buy gifts for loved ones. With nothing but a logo to start off with, we were tasked with creating a solid and functional basis for the brand’s new start in the digital world.
The design
This jewellery shop website design is minimalistic but effective, using a sophisticated colour palette of black, white, and gold. This minimal colour palette helps to break up and highlight information without overwhelming the user.
For example, we used the gold accent colour to highlight the promotion bar at the top of the page offering free delivery on orders over £20.
Why it works
To cater to the brand’s target audience, we created a user-friendly and visually appealing site that is optimised for search engines and provides ample product information to persuade the user to make a purchase.
Users can create an account and log in to view their order history and updates on recent orders, as well as apply coupon codes created by the shop and view a gallery of product images.
For e-commerce websites, we use the WooCommerce plugin to create a user-friendly and organised shop system within the website dashboard.
