Bark & Brush dog grooming in Plymouth contacted us to design a fun but simple, cartoon-style logo with new brand colours to debut on their social media platforms. Their previous logo was in black and white colours, and they were looking for something new to relate to their ideal customers, which are working people in the age range of 18-40.
Opting for a brown, pink, and cream colour scheme, we felt we were able to achieve and fun, friendly, and approachable vibe that Bark & Brush was looking for. These colours contrast well with eachother and ensure the text is still easy to read.
Whilst keeping the fun theme within the logo, we wanted to convey trust and responsibility to the customer as this is an important factor in the dog grooming industry. Customers need to be able to trust the company that looks after or grooms their pet, so we opted for a thick and bold cartoon font to get this message across to the customers rather than a thinner handwriting-style typeface.
